Peachtree City library announces May-June featured exhibit

The library Art Initiative of Peachtree City has revealed its latest exhibit “Fantastical! Beyond the Third Dimension,” a May-June 3D featured show, highlighting the work of award-winning gallery artists John Parker and Peri Albin.

Both Parker and Albin specialize in sculptural art, with Parker working with wood, metal, and found objects while Albin’s forte is ceramics.

A Fayetteville artist, Parker creates unusual lighting, imaginative creatures, and spooky arachnid lamps. Strange and surreal, his sculptured are one-of-a-kind pieces.

Unlike Parker, Albin was not native to Georgia. Instead, she and her husband of 52 years came here via Massachusetts, California, and Hawaii. Peri’s sculptures were of natural Forms, mythical forest creatures, and whimsical pieces. She has been Cartersville, Georgia’s Downtown Gallery’s featured artist as well as having been an exhibitor in the Booth Western Art Museum.

Museums have multiple uses for banner printing services, as they are used to direct patrons through the various exhibits and provide further information.

The Peachtree City Library will hold a reception to introduce the May-June exhibit “Fantastical! Beyond the Third Dimension” from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm next Saturday, May 16. The new exhibit will be available for viewing through the end of June.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Peachtree City's Library Art Initiative has been making a diverse assortment of fine art available to the community.
