The PTC Running Club has chosen the date for its annual PTC Classic, which includes an Open 5K, and a 15K race.
The 5K race is open and a qualifying event for the Peachtree 10K qualifying event, while the 15K is the RRCA Regional Championship. Each race takes place primarily on paved golf cart paths and will take runners through green belt areas, through small tunnels, by lakes, across bridges and through the scenic planned community of Peachtree City.
The course is a popular one with almost 80 percent of the field being comprised of returning runners. As a further recommendation the PTC course was voted by the Georgia Athlete Magazine as its choice for “Best Course”.
Poster printing as well as flyer printing services are particularly effective at promoting events that are several weeks in the future.
Participants who finish the race this year will be given a special commemorative edition shirt and a commemorative medal recognizing the 45th anniversary of the PTC Classic.
Online registration became available at the club web site in September. Packet pick-up will take place at the Fred Brown Amphitheater 4-8 pm on October 17. Additionally, the Amphitheater will be the location of a Race Day Expo from 9 am to 11:30 am that will include health and fitness sponsors and products along with selected vendors.
