December can be a festive time of year for Peachtree City residents, but for families in need, it can also be difficult, and an event has been organized that will seek to bring these members of the community some holiday cheer.
Santa himself will be paying a visit to the city, and when he arrives, he will be working with the fire department to conduct a toy drive to help make sure that every child has a holiday gift this year. He will also be collecting for the food bank. To help him in his efforts, some of the firefighters will be chauffeuring him around town in a firetruck as he picks up the donations.
All contributions of new, unwrapped toys and nonperishable food will be appreciated. The event will be running over three weekends, so the public can choose the date that is best for them to make a donation. Posters and other Promotional Products for an event like this can be produced by a local printing company.
Santa will be setting out on his collecting trips on December 2 and 3, December 9 and 10, and also December 16 and 17. The contributions from the public will be distributed to those in need, and the Peachtree City website contains additional details about the campaign, as well as a schedule for the routes the truck will follow.
