The 2024 Bank Society Act Summit (BSA) will be taking place this January, running through until February.
The event is to be held by the Georgia Bankers Association (GBA). Geared towards assisting professionals in assessing and maintaining their different programs, the summit addresses the challenges associated with compliance with the BSA. Despite banks' efforts, weaknesses in BSA sectors and sanctions programs are commonly identified in audits, prompting increased regulatory emphasis.
The Summit introduces a comprehensive approach to support compliance measures, and will feature Compliance lawyer Kristen Stogniew, who teaches consulting and auditing in the BSA and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) world. Attendees benefit from strengthening their knowledge of BSA's technical prerequisites, obtaining tools for improved compliance documentation, and gaining insight into unlawful activity indicators, all while enjoying the help of fellow financial institution AML and BSA professionals.
The Summit caters to BSA analysts, auditors, supporting staff, and officers with different levels of experience, providing them with valuable insights and tools for success in navigating the complex regulatory landscape.
Registration for the event can be completed online.
Brochure printing can be a great way for organizers to provide useful take-home information to those attending gatherings, such as this one.
