Peachtree City residents have long expressed a desire for a Trader Joe’s in their community, and according to two reputable sources, their wishes my come true next summer - though nothing official has been released.
Countering two news sources that predicted the specialty grocery store’s plans to open a Peachtree City store at The Avenue, Ellie White-Stevens of The Citizen cited an anonymous source in city government, who said that those predictions were premature at best. If it turns out that a Trader Joe’s does materialize here, it will likely be in the spot currently occupied by Books-A-Million.
Some businesses are more dependent on Print shops than others, although most utilize banner printing services to announce their grand openings.
Peachtree City residents must currently travel to Atlanta where the closest Trader Joe’s is located on Monroe Street - a trip that is at least 40 minutes by car. The company had said for years that it would not be expanding its Georgia presence; however, recently it was reported that six more Trader Joe’s would be added in Georgia, of which one is predicted to be in Peachtree City.
The question remains whether the Trader Joe’s in Peachtree City will be located at The Avenue. If the Books-A-Million location pans out, then the new grocery here would cover approximately 13,000 square feet.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Books
