Peachtree City welcomes 100 new jobs

A telecoms company is to set up its brand new headquarters in Peachtree City, with up to 100 positions expected to be brought in to the area as a result.

Osmose Utilities Services Inc., which carries out inspection and maintenance for electric utility firms and telecommunications industry companies, will construct the facility on 635 Highway 74 South.

Peachtree City printing companies will likely be working to produce Stationery printing orders ahead of its slated opening later this year.

With the local workforce targeted, those interested in applying to the firm could be working on their business card printing too. Of the jobs being created at the new headquarters, many positions will be in the executive, administrative, and supervisory roles. Positions in the IT department will also be available.

The president and CEO of Osmose, Larry Larson, said he was looking forward to expanding into Peachtree, commenting:

“In addition to being a highly desirable place to call home, Fayette and the surrounding counties offer an excellent talent pool we can draw from as our business continues to grow.”

Applauding the business environment within the city, Governor Nathan Deal said that both the workforce and the state can be proud that Osmose has chosen to expand its headquarters to Peachtree City.

Deal said he was confident that the company would continue to see growth as a result.
