Very soon, it will be time once again for Peachtree City to celebrate the holiday season with the Hometown Holiday celebration.
The family friendly event will offer a variety of festive activities, good food and the lighting of the town tree.
This year, the event will kick off once again at the Fred Amphitheater where revelers can enjoy musical performances by the Fayette Fiddlers, the Peachtree Wind Ensemble, singer Lisa Kelly and the Starr’s Mill Singers.
There will also be a performance by Dance Contempra. At the conclusion of the program, attendees will be offered rides in golf carts through the city’s Trail of Lights, which will finish at the Town Hall. There, everyone will be greeted by Santa. The town tree will be lit once everyone has arrived, and children on the ride will each be given a glow necklace to add to the fun.
Those who attend may want to bring their best camera for capturing the scenery and their children having fun, for later use in making Holiday Cards.
The holiday event will take place on Saturday, December 5, starting at 5:00 pm at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater 201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City. There is no cost to participate. The Trail of Lights will run from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm and the tree will be lit at 7:15 pm.Get a Free Quote for Holiday Cards
