Peachtree City offers unique Independence Day celebration

Peachtree City is organizing a celebration entailing July 4th fireworks and a parade.

Peachtree Parkway, in front of Village on the Green, will be the starting point for the parade, which will proceed north before turning on McIntosh Trail, ending at McIntosh Trail Complex. It is estimated that the parade will cover a distance of two miles. At dark, fireworks will be displayed over Lake Peachtree.

Attendees are reminded that Peachtree City doesn't provide recommendations or grant authorization for private property parking, including businesses, churches, and shopping centers. It is advised that individuals contact different locations directly for parking authorization.

Registration for the celebration is currently open to Peachtree City citizens and businesses as well as Fayette County citizens and businesses. Interested participants can register and get more information by visiting the event listing. A detailed list of the parade regulations is also available on the organizer’s listing. Reading all rules diligently is important due to event changes for 2024. The registration deadline will be June 24th or when the maximum number of participants is reached.
