Peachtree City makes time for the children

The Peachtree City Library will host a children’s storytime session this July.

The event caters towards toddlers and young children. It offers an engaging option for socialization, as children also work on interpersonal growth. There will be plenty of stories for children of all ages to enjoy. The stories are chosen from a diverse set of cultures including African, Mexican, and Australia. They entail the use of animals in varying situations using kindness and friendship to resolve problems. The retelling of these stories will feature an eye-catching backdrop, as well as props and puppets.

This event is ideal for parents seeking visual and cognitive engagement activities for their children. The sessions will be led by Barry Stewart Mann, who serves the Atlanta community as a storyteller, educator, and actor.

The event requires registration, but is free for all to attend. All patrons to this event must have a PINES library card, or their registration may be cancelled. Ticket options will open on July 10. Further information about this process is available on the Eventbrite listing.

Flyer printing may offer visual stimuli to engage the children at events like this one.

This event takes place on July 14. The Library is located at 201 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City. It begins at 10:30 am and ends at 11:30 am.
