A performance by singer and guitarist Drew Ashworth is taking place at The Avenue Peachtree City this October.
Ashworth hails from the arid landscapes of Arizona but was nurtured amid the pine-studded hills of West Georgia. His musical journey began early, as the sounds of delta blues, Southern R&B, rock, classic country records and soul from his parents' collection were familiar to him since birth. His innate talent for soulful singing surfaced at a tender age, and at just eight years old, he stumbled upon an old guitar in his grandmother's attic, forging a lifelong connection with the instrument.
At 13, Ashworth became a disciple of the guitarist and music instructor Brian Jobson. By 15, he was captivating audiences and earning pocket money within the vibrant music scene of metro Atlanta.
He has five albums to his name to date, the most recent of which is ‘Hard Time Blues’, released towards the end of last year.
Ashworth will be the next performer in the venue’s Third Thursday series. The event will give individuals the chance to enjoy music outdoors along with food and drinks. Poster printing can be a great way to inform individuals about the different performers at events such as this one.
