Whether they want to climb the corporate ladder or just want to a change in career, a workshop being offered in Peachtree City may become a “must attend’ for local jobseekers.
The search for a new position can sometimes be frustrating, and that is the impetus behind the “Career Search Basics” workshop. The participants in the session will discover how they can make the most of the job search tools available to them, including maximizing their online presence.
Several topics will be on the slate for discussion during the workshop. The participants will learn how they can streamline their search and also how they can save by focusing on the opportunities that best fit what they are looking for. They will also learn about LinkedIn and other social media, along with how they can create a page for themselves that will stand apart from the crowd.
While this free event is open to anyone who is interested, there are only seats available for seven people. A printer can provide business card printing and other services that can help jobseekers who have taken part in this sort of function to put their best foot forward.
Panera Bread will be the location for this opportunity for those who are looking for a career change to hit the ground running. It will begin at 1:00 pm on January 12.
