The Coweta Community Food Pantry has issued a challenge to residents, schools, workplaces, and everyone else to fill its shelves, with food and monetary donations welcome.
Those from Newnan, Peachtree City and other area communities will be teaming up to make the 38th annual Can-A-Thon a success. One of the Pantry’s most important events, it can be a good opportunity for people to clean out their excess food items ahead of the holidays, or people may choose to add a few extra purchases to their grocery cart to donate.
There will be two different collection stations set up for this event, and they will be located at the Regions Bank Parking Lot Thomas Crossroads and also at the Cort Square in Downtown Newnan. They will be open for 12 hours on the day of the food drive, and anyone who would prefer to make a contribution online will also have a way to do so.
Heavy marketing is one way the organizer of a fundraising drive can make sure people know about the event. A printer’s graphic design team will be pleased to land a hand, and can offer everything from Signs to flyer printing options.
The 2021 Coweta Community Food Pantry Can-A-Thon will be giving the public a way to show their civic spirit on November 30. Both collection stations will be open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm, and online donations can made via PayPal.
