Peachtree City invited to swing by local fundraiser

A fundraising dance to be held this fall in Peachtree City will hark back to the days of big band music, and it will help to ensure the public will be able to continue to discover the area’s military past.

Commemorative Air Force Base Georgia is home to a variety of vintage and period aircraft, and it has made plans to welcome one and all for its Keep ‘Em Flying Hangar Dance. The event promises to offer lots of fun, and tickets include both dining and dancing.

While the guests enjoy their meal and music, they will feel like they stopped back in time thanks to the costumed reenactors and World War Two vets who will be in attendance. Several large planes will be parked in the hangar for the crowd to view, and a silent auction is in the works as well. The entertainment will be supplied by Peachtree Jazz Edition Swing Band, and tickets for the festivities are available for purchase now.

Banner printing and themed décor are often used for events such as this.

The Keep ‘Em Flying Hangar Dance will have the whole town swinging on September 25th. It will take place at the CAF Airbase Georgia museum, and the guests are welcome to start arriving at 6:00pm.
