Peachtree City Independence Day parade registration open

The municipality of Peachtree City has issued an open invitation to all organizations within Fayette County as well as those running for local offices to participate in the 2025 4th of July parade.

Included in the invitation are churches, businesses, civic groups, clubs and schools, with the only limitations being that they be located within Fayette County. A photo and the measurements of the proposed entry are required with each application for both those hoping to make a first-time appearance as well those who have participated in the past.

Businesses, civic organizations and nonprofits have the opportunity to increase their name recognition with the help of promotional products they give out along parade routes.

Peachtree City residents can register for free. Other residents of Fayette County as well as churches, nonprofit organizations, and those running for political office in the county will be charged $25. Commercial businesses in Fayette County and those running for state office will have a $50 registration fee.

A $250 deposit will be required of those entering vehicles more than 40 feet in length and no more than 70 feet. Those with vehicles over 70 feet who do not follow the applicable rules will forfeit their deposit.

The deadline for registration is 5 pm June 27. The city reserves the right to refuse entries that do not meet its requirements.
