Peachtree City hosts royal celebration

The 2022 Butler Lexus of South Atlanta Concert Season will present the 5th staging of Marc Martel’s Ultimate Queen Celebration next month.

Martel, whose voice sounds similar to Queen lead vocalist Freddy Mercury, was chosen to marshal the 2012 Queen tribute by original members, Roger Taylor and Brian May, after they saw a video of his rendition of the song “Somebody To Love”. Before that, he was a part of the Canadian rock band Downhere for over a decade.

The Oscar-winning Queen film, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” features Martel’s vocals. In 2017, he established The Ultimate Queen Celebration project and toured successfully in Australia, New Zealand, and North America.

Tickets for reserved seats range from $45 to $55. Plaza tables are also on sale for $420 and seat up to six attendees. Limited amounts of VIP Meet and Greet packages are available for $69.99 per person and included a picture with Marc Martel and an autographed CD.

Poster printing is an affordable and creative way for organizers to provide information about events like this.

The Ultimate Queen Celebration will take place on Saturday, August 27, at 6:30 pm. Marc Martel will begin his performance at 7:30 pm. The show will be held at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater at 201 McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City, Georgia 30269. Visit the venue’s website for more information or to purchase tickets.
