Peachtree City gets moving this holiday

The Jingle Bell 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will take place this weekend in Peachtree City.

This year’s event will mark the 27th annual installment of the run. Both running and walking individuals will be able to participate. Additionally, a wagon will trail behind to assist slower-paced individuals. While strollers are permitted, participants are urged to stay behind faster runners to avoid any disruptions.

Guests who registered before November 1 were able to pay a discounted price of $20, but the fee is now $25 up until race day. Late registrants may not be guaranteed their preferred shirt size. This Friday, December 1, between the hours of 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, attendees will be able to pick up their packets at Peachtree City Elementary School. The organizers welcome registrations on Friday, or even on the race day itself.

Attendees will be able to park at a church next to the school. During the event, Peachtree City Running Club volunteers will be present and ready to assist with parking directions. Banner printing can be a great way to mark the finish and start lines at events such as this one.

The date and time for the event will be this Saturday, December 2, between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. The school is located at 201 Wisdom Rd. Peachtree City.
