Peachtree City golfers who have been looking for an excuse to spend a day out on the links may find an upcoming fundraiser just the ticket.
A golf tournament that will benefit area animals in need will be hosted at Braelinn Golf Club, and there are a variety of ways for the community to get involved in the day. Even if they do not play themselves they can still choose to sponsor the function or donate a gift in kind for the raffle draw, and all help will be welcome.
The organizers are offering a variety of sponsorship packages, and they start at $100. They go all the way up to the Platinum Level, and the contribution required for this designation is $5,000. The planners have also put out a call to local individuals and businesses seeking the donation of Corporate Gifts and other products or services, and these will be used as prizes for the raffle draw.
The monies that are raised through this golf event will be utilized by the Fayette Humane Society to help the animals in its care. It will also assist the organization in raising awareness, as well as offering spay and neuter programs and other initiatives organized by the Humane Society.
The annual Fore the Paws fundraiser has been rescheduled to September 25. More details are available on its website.
