Peachtree City families invited to get back to nature

Peachtree City families who have been looking for an activity they can enjoy together may want to check out an event that will soon be held in their local area.

Hosted by NatureLink, LLC., it will be all about enjoying spending time together in the great outdoors.

A free day of fun will be welcoming area families, and they will be encouraged to get out and explore the world around them. It will run from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and will wrap up with an evening of storytelling around a roaring bonfire.

The plans for the occasion include a guided hike which will give the group a chance to learn about the various plants and animals that call the property home. There will be games to play, and the basics of recognizing bird calls and identifying animals tracks will be shared as well. Everyone can rejuvenate in the yoga and meditation session, and they can try their hand at nature crafts, flint knapping, basketry, and other nature-based activities.

The organizers of this celebration of the area’s natural history is open to all who are interested, but advance registration is appreciated. Stationery printers can land a hand with the “nuts and bolts” of planning an occasion like this by preparing waivers and other business Forms.

The field day and potluck dinner will be held on December 1. The venue for the day will be relates to the registrants closer to the date when it will be taking place.
