A new sporting festival is set to come to Peachtree City later this year, with printing companies in no doubt preparing Posters, Stationery, and Brochures ahead of time.
Taking place in the spring, the FCA Endurance MultiSport Weekend will feature a number of sports across the three days with swimming, running and cycling being the focus for all. These all feature in the main event of weekend too, which will be the 70.4-mile triathlon.
It is open to relay teams and individuals and will be contested over a certified long-course. One of the toughest athletic events in the world, it will comprise a 1.3-mile swim, followed by a 56-mile bike ride, then a 13.1-mile run to the finish.
Though the centerpiece of the weekend, the triathlon is only one of a total of 16 sports taking place. More than 3,000 people are expected to take part across the weekend, with the event open to children and adults.
There is no age restriction for the weekend, and amateurs, professionals, and eager novices will be welcomed equally. Of the 16 events, 13 are open to adults, with a further three specifically for children.
