McIntosh HS club to host charity pickleball

A group of enthusiastic McIntosh High School students here in Peachtree City who make up the Interact Club are having an April fundraising event at the Flat Creek Country Club in support of the Healing Bridge Clinic.

Sponsored by the Peachtree City Rotary Club, the McIntosh High School Interact Club will be holding a Pickleball Tournament titled “Paddles for a Cause” on April 19, 2025. The tournament is open to those of all skill levels, offering food, fun and prizes in a friendly competitive environment.

Each year members of the McIntosh High School Interact Club organize several fundraising and volunteer activities. These activities are chosen to directly benefit organizations that positively affect animal welfare, literacy, healthcare and basic community needs. Among the organizations that have benefited from the McIntosh Interact Club’s fundraising were Bloom Closet, Leap for Literacy, Royal Animal Refuge and Clothes Less Traveled.

The healthcare industry makes extensive use of printing services in their quest to educate the public on healthy living and preventing or treating various conditions.

Proceeds from April’s Pickleball Tournament will go toward supporting a local nonprofit organization, Healing Bridge Clinic, which works with underserved residents of Fayette County and the surrounding area providing them with essential healthcare, education and intervention services at no cost.

Registration as well as additional information on participating, being a spectator or sponsor for “Paddles for a Cause” can be done online.
