Festival on the water returns to Peachtree City

The Dragon Boat Festival, which is an annual event, will be held in Peachtree City this September.

The event aims to raise awareness about the cultural diversity present in the area, as well as making an initiative to promote commerce between these two groups. There will be live entertainment, food, and drink for all participants and sponsors. The organizers hope to cement the importance of culture through an interaction of business, community and the arts.

The event is open to those aged 14 and up, and interested people may participate as a group, or as individuals. Each team must consist of at least 11 members, and the roles of each must be clearly defined during the application process. The aim of each team is to be the first boat to cross the finish line in the competition. The event is open to formal groups such as corporations, high schools, seniors, and many more. The details of participation are available on the event's website. Registration ends on September 1.

The project comes from the Peachtree City Rotary Club. The aim of the club is to provide helpful service to local businesses and organizations in an effort to strengthen community relations.

Poster printing can be a useful way to advertise events such as this one.

The Boat Race takes place on September 24. The Rotary Club is located at PO Box 2056, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269. It begins at 11:00 am.
