Expo will educate those who want to work in films

The Cinema South Motion Picture Career and Education Expo will take place this month in Fayette County.

It is mainly aimed at those who wish to get into film, television or digital productions. It will give them an opportunity to meet with many industry professionals and learn what they have to do in order to succeed.

There are set to be several panel discussions with actors, makeup artists, hairstylists, and stunt artists. Some of those who will be appearing at the expo are Steve Cainas, Whit Norris, Jasmine Burke, and Sid Yost.

There will be a special session for veterans only that will take place before the expo opens to the general public.

Space is also available for exhibitors. Fees for an eight-foot table are $300 and exhibitors will have their logo printed on all event advertisements.

No doubt this event will be widely advertised in Fayette County in order to attract people from nearby communities such as Peachtree City. Flyer printing firms will often be asked to provide marketing products.

The Cinema South Motion Picture Career and Education Expo will be held at the Open Rivers Film Academy on January 30 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Fees are $10 for adults and $5 for students and a limited number of military personnel. To find out more, visit the event website.
