Peachtree City locals can enjoy two races along with a health and fitness boutique that will make them feel like a diva.
Locals can check out the two-day 'Health and Fitness Boutique', where there will be free samples and a variety of exhibitors. It is likely that flyer printing will be used to promote this event.
Then, runners can partake in the 'Divas Half Marathon' or 5K, two certified and chip-timed races. Participants will be given pink tutus, crown-shaped finisher medals, T-Shirts, and more.
Awards will be passed out to the top three overall as well as the top three participants in each age group in both the 5K and the marathon.
Registration costs $65 for the 5K and $110 for the marathon. For an additional $15, participants can also sign up at the Health and Fitness Boutique, if space is still available.
The boutique will take place on September 10 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and September 11 from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm at Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center.
The 5K’s first wave starts at 7:15 am on September 12, with the first wave of the marathon following closely at 7:35 am.
The start line is located at Shakerag Knoll on 192 McIntosh Trail. Free parking can be found at Cooper Lighting by Eaton, located on 1121 South Highway 74. Participants can take shuttles from the parking lot to the race.
