Club of the Year again for Peachtree City Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Peachtree City, part of Rotary District 6900, has once again been named the district’s Club of the Year.

For the second year in a row Peachtree City’s rotary club has garnered this honor, sharing it this year with the Roswell Rotary Club, another city in Category IV/Large Clubs, meaning those containing more than 100 members. The local rotary club membership includes over 150 local professionals who share a passion for service to their community and the world at large.

Nonprofits have multiple uses for printing services, sharing many of the same products and services that companies use to promote themselves.

Spurred on by receiving the same honor last year, the Peachtree Club has during the last 12 months maintained its position as The Rotary Foundation’s highest per capita giver within the district’s large clubs, while also growing its membership. The worldwide eradication of polio worldwide has been a special project for Rotary International and among the likely contributing factors to the club’s back-to-back awards, were the almost $7,000 it raised for Rotary International’s PolioPlus in just one hour.

Also of note was the success of its annual Bourbon & Bow Ties/Pinot & Pearls event, which has been held every October for the past three years, and the honorable mentions it received for excellence in member engagement via its Rotary Community Corps.
