The Peachtree City Classic is returning to the city for another year. This race is considered part of the Road Runners Club of America’s (RRCA) 15K State Championship Series.
It consists of three races – a women’s 5K, a men’s 5K, and an open 15K. Fees are $35 for the 5K and $45 for the 15K. Participants receive a long-sleeved race shirt.
Competition is divided into age groups beginning at 10 and under, and continuing up to 70 and over. The top three finishers in each category will receive awards, as will the top three male and female finishers overall. There will also be prizes for the top team in the Corporate Challenge.
Participants can pick up their packages on the day before the race at the Peachtree City Hotel and Conference Center from 4:30 to 8:30 PM. A race expo is being held there as well. Vendors representing wellness and fitness companies will be on hand to sell a variety of products, as will local businesses with wellness-related products. The expo will continue on race day at the Frederick Brown Amphitheater.
When organizers are planning events like this, they usually contact a Peachtree City printing company to provide them with bibs and printed shirts.
The Peachtree City Classic will be held on Saturday, October 21 at the Frederick Brown Amphitheater. For complete information, visit the official event website.
