Peachtree City parents who have concerns about their child’s safety seat or who just want to make sure theirs is installed correctly may want to take advantage of a program on offer.
The local fire rescue and police departments will be teaming up with Safe Kids Fayette County to offer families a car seat check up, and these no-cost sessions will only take a few minutes to complete. They will take place throughout the afternoon in Lake Peachtree Picnic Park.
After the host has ensured that the attendee’s child seat is properly installed, they will point out any problem to the parents so they will know how to avoid these mistakes in the future. The participants will also be made aware of the laws that pertain to these pieces of equipment, as well as other ways they can ensure they child will ride along in comfort and safety.
One of the components of this program that can make it even more helpful to the families will be the distribution of information and materials that will offer tips for car, home and community safety. A brochure printing company can be called upon to provide these types of materials.
This quick way for parents to be sure their son or daughter’s car seat is properly installed will be on offer on November 19th. They will be on offer from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
