Anxiety coping workshop to be held near Peachtree City

In late February, an event in Newnan will help people deal with anxiety.

The three-day event aims to equip its attendees with the skills necessary to effectively combat the ill-effects of a fast-paced society on mental health. The course will include an examination of daily stresses and their relation to the loss of connection between the physical and emotional body, and how these may present themselves as physical or pain, stress, and fatigue. The seminar will then review treatment methods from this perspective.

The training is aimed at mental health professionals, massage therapists, nurses, physicians, and other medical practitioners. It is also open to all members of the general community. The course will focus on having patrons learn through experience. Some of the material includes massage techniques for mental health relief, and scientific research on depression and anxiety. The event is open to residents across the state, including those from nearby Peachtree City.

The cost for entry is $400 before January 24. After this date, there will be an increase of $50. Flyer printing can be a great way to give additional information to attendees at events like this.

The event takes place from February 24 to 26 at the True Balance Center for Breath and Body Work at 48 East Washington Street, Newnan, Georgia. It begins at 9:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm each day.
