An event that will put a smile on the faces of Peachtree City crafters is just around the corner, and those who are interested are welcome to register now to be a part of the fun.
The August Axel Jewellery Studio will be hosting an afternoon of crafting, and it will teach the fundamentals of beading using hand-knotting techniques. To help ensure everyone is safe during the activity, socially distancing protocols will be followed, and the goal is for the participants to create necklaces, bracelets, and other pieces that look as if they were crafted by a pro.
The group will work using silk thread and practice beads, and one of the skills they will be taught is how to match the thread with the bead. They will discover how to evenly space the beads, as well as the art of crafting the end of each piece using professional finishings. They will receive support from the staff who will be on hand, and the attendees can count on getting lots of one-on-one assistance.
