Newnan’s Nixon Centre for the Arts is hosting a concert by Harvest Moon this fall.
Harvest Moon is a tribute band paying homage to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, as well as the solo music of band member Neil Young.
Covering decades of musical hits which have sparked millions in album sales over the years, Harvest Moon uses precise recreation to authentically take listeners back to the golden age of rock.
In addition to representing Neil Young’s music during his time with CSN&Y, Harvest Moon also plays music from many of his other eras in music, including Young’s collaborations with Buffalo Springfield and Crazy Horse.
Harvest Moon was formed in the Atlanta area in 2018 by founding member and guitarist Rod Gunther and keyboardist Henry Davis, both of whom previously held roles in an Allman Brothers tribute band.
They are joined by drummer and vocalist Brad Berry, who previously worked with the bands Reuben’s Bell of Mock of Ages. Bassist and vocalist Wade Carreker, singer Meg Scalise, guitarist and vocalist Grant Reynolds and pedal steel guitar player Mark van Allen round out Harvest Moon’s ensemble.
Rock concerts like this may choose to use flyer printing to create set lists, merchandise pamphlets and promotional material.
Harvest Moon is performing on October 8 at 7 pm at the Nixon Centre for the Arts at 1523 Lower Fayetteville Rd in Newnan.
