The Kiwanis Coweta County Fair is set to take place in mid to late September.
Ten days of fun and competition will feature a wide variety of activities, so there will be something for everyone.
Commercial vendors, as well as individuals with items to sell, can apply through the event website, but there are only a certain number of spaces, so applying earlier gives a better chance of getting approved. Applications must be submitted by September 10th. When it comes to the commercial side, many are likely to offer Promotional Products or run a little raffle/contest for prizes in order to draw interest to their company. Individual vendors can have goods from many categories, such as food or jewelry. Commercial booths can be set up for three days before the start. Individuals can set theirs up on the 21st.
The entertainment will include pet and wild animal exhibits, theatre acts, music, and a DJ. These groups and individuals will be there every day, starting on the second date.
Day one will feature the carnival rides, with none of the exhibits open yet. At the time of writing, competitions were not listed, but those interested should check the site closer to the date.
Fair hours vary each day, with the earliest day starting at noon, and the latest starting at 5:00pm. Ending times range from 10:00pm to midnight. An exact schedule is available on the event site. Tickets are $5, with a Mega Pass for $30 that covers admission and unlimited rides.
