Newnan law enforcement professionals are there to help the community in times of need, and they are now asking for the public’s help to support one of their own who is in need of some help.
Officer Blake Sterrett was injured in the line of duty, and he and his family have incurred many expenses because of this. To help get him back on his feet, a motorcycle ride has been planned, and both riders and passengers can participate.
The group of motorcyclists will gather at Great South Harley Davidson before they head out. The routs that has been chosen is about 40 miles long, and it will wind up at the Georgia State Farmers Market where a party will be in progress.
One the ride is over, the fun will keep right on going. There will be both live and silent auctions, music, food, raffles, and even split draws. The function will take place whether it’s sunny or raining, and all the monies raised will be donated to Officer Sterret.
