Soul artists to enchant Mableton in upcoming concert

A lineup of classic soul artists is set to take the stage at Mableton’s Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre for a concert this fall.

Dubbed “An Evening of Classic Soul,” the concert features the talents of Rose Royce, Regina Belle and headliner Jeffrey Osborne.

Osborne has five decades under his belt as a musician in not only soul, but other genres as well.

His latest work, the album Worth It All, which came after a 15-year hiatus from his solo career, is a spiritual follow-up to his previous album, Music Is Life.

With his signature robust vocals that can cover a wide range of notes, even to this day, Osborne is known for his moody harmonic ballads, ‘80s-inspired rhythmic structures, modern melodies and thoughtful lyrics.

From musings on romance to contemplations on the triteness of modern materialism, the singer-songwriter is known to put as much effort into writing his lyrics as he is constructing his choruses.

Tickets for the concert start at $59, with VIP packages available. While food vendors are on site, attendees are also allowed to bring their own food and drinks.

Soul concerts like this may choose to use poster printing to create promotional material and vendor Signs.

An Evening of Soul: Jeffrey Osborn, Regina Belle and Rose Royce is happening on October 3 at 7 pm, with doors open at 6 pm, at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre at 5239 Floyd Rd in Mableton.
