Mableton’s Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre is hosting a performance by Rip Micheals this September.
The comedian known for his continued presence on the MTV improv comedy show “Wild N’ Out” will be joined by fellow performers Young Guy, Nephew Jones and others.
The performance represents a comeback for Micheals, who briefly had to cancel his presence on stage due to a sudden heart attack back in 2023. Though he spent a stint in the hospital, Micheals has since recovered and returned to his regular stand-up comedy antics.
Billed as “Southern Blues and Comedy Wildin Style,” the show will also feature appearances by Mope Williams, Dutches, Bowtie Slim, Japvonn, Nilan Milan, Shantavia Nicole, DJ Trucker and Dee Jay Franchise.
Micheals rose to prominence in the national spotlight after joining Season 6 of “Wild N’ Out” back in 2014. He has remained a constant presence on the Nick Cannon-hosted show ever since, including for live tours and festivals.
Other milestones that Micheals has reached in his career include performing at Showtime at the Apollo, as well as appearing on Last Call with Carson Daily and BET’s ComicView.
