International festival to take place in Mableton area

The Cobb County International Festival will be returning to the Jim Miller Park Event Center in Marietta in the coming days. Residents of nearby Mableton will not want to miss this special event.

The festival celebrates the best international and local music, arts and imaginative crafts, and food from those from around the world in the community and the strengths of the cultural diversity in the area. There will also be a corner for kids, jewellers, and other vendors who will be selling items for purchase. This is a family-friendly event that looks to unite and educate the people of the community.

Organizers of special events such as this one may look to local Print shops to help with creating professionally printed Flyers and Posters to help spread the word about such events throughout the region.

This event is sponsored by Cobbs PARKS, which is part of the government of Cobb County and manages 90 properties covering 6,000 acres. Of those properties, 78 are developed parks. The department manages several specialized facilities including the Al Bishop and Lost Mountain Softball Complexes; the Cobb County Civic Center Complex; the Mable House-Barnes Amphitheatre; over 60 miles of trails; and the fairgrounds and event center at Jim Miller Park.

The Cobb County International Festival will take place this Saturday, August 27 from noon to 6:00 pm. There is no charge for admission.
