Cherokee Truck Equipment, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has been purchased by ML Utilities. ML Utilities provides management services, repairs on- and off-site, compliance inspections, and fleet maintenance to the utility sector.
Cherokee has a facility spanning 15,000 square feet in Mableton and another covering 20,000 square feet in Chattanooga. This purchase will increase the range of services of ML Utilities in Georgia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, among other states to its customers and fleet owners. Brochure printing is often used to outline such new areas serviced and what new services may be offered.
Presidents Mickey Hodges and Kent Upton, co-presidents of ML Utilities, said that this purchase is significant for the company and will enable the company to increase the number of talented people to its team. They added that it will also enable the company to provide its customers with more complete and comprehensive services from the beginning to end of life. Finally, they said, the culture of Cherokee very much aligns with that of ML Utilities such that their values of safety and service will be honored every day.
Jim O’Brien, president of Cherokee Truck Equipment, LLC, agreed that ML Utilities shares many of the values which are held dear by the company. He expressed his excitement about joining forces with the family of ML Utilities and bringing more tailored solutions to its customers.
