Golf tournaments are always a popular choice when it comes to fundraising, and Gainesville golfers will soon be enjoying one that offers a special twist.
United Way of Hall County will be the charity of choice for the Mini Golf Tournament set for Oaks Miniature Golf. It promises to be a fundraiser with plenty of fun, and while they enjoy themselves, the players can mix, mingle, and build their contact network.
While the golfers enjoy playing their round, they can also bid on the items on the block in a silent auction, and an even-split raffle is in the works as well. In keeping with the spirit of the day, awards will be given for both the best team and highest score, and also the worst team and lowest score. Other prizes will be presented as well.
As with many fundraisers, the organizers are grateful for the support shown by its corporate sponsors. The 2026 United Way of Hall County Mini Golf Tournament will offer the fun of mini golf on Friday, August 14. The registration fee for a team of four is $125.
