Gainesville golfers participate in small-scale tournament

Golfers can show some love to Gainesville area not-for-profit groups when they get into the swing of things in a mini golf tournament fundraiser.

The United Way of Hall County has invited local golfers to hang up their clubs and stick to their putters for its Mini Golf fundraiser. A friendly competition with an assortment of prizes will be up for grabs, the proceeds from the day will be passed along to local not-for-profit organizations.

The registrants will be showing off their putting skills on the course at Oaks Miniature Golf, and prizes will be presented in various categories. These include the highest and lowest score, as well as the best team and the worst team. An even-split raffle has been organized, and a silent auction for an assortment of donated Corporate Gifts and experiences will add an extra dash of excitement for the golfers.

Creative fundraising can make a big impact when it comes to increasing awareness, as well as raising money for a cause. A banner printing company will be pleased to partner with organizations that require assistance when it comes to securing printed materials for an event.

The United Way of Hall County hopes to make a big impact with its Mini Golf Tournament, which will be offered on August 14. The registration fee for a team of four is $125.
