Songwriters to collaborate in Decatur

Eddie’s Attic will welcome four regional songwriters for a night of original music and storytelling during an installment of "Songwriters in the Row."

The event will feature performances by Payne Bridges, Lewis Beard of The Wirelight, Josh Reid of Perfect Southern Gentlemen, and Macedonia.

Originally inspired by songwriter showcases in Nashville’s Douglas Corner Café, the concept was brought to Atlanta in 2019 by musician and host Cliff Corr. These songwriter gatherings have evolved into “Songwriters in the Row,” a round-style format that invites musicians to perform and discuss the inspiration behind their work in an intimate setting.
The series has since become a platform for fostering connections between Atlanta and Nashville-based performers. Each event creates a collaborative atmosphere, providing the audience with rare insight into the creative process while encouraging camaraderie among artists.

Doors for the show open at 6 pm, with music beginning at 7 pm. General admission and table seating are both priced at $15. General admission does not guarantee a seat and is first come, first served. Reserved tables include four tickets and must be selected under “Table Seating” at checkout. Tickets are available in advance at the Eddie’s Attic listing or at the venue on the day of the event.

Flyer printing may be used by organizers to get the word out about events such as this one.

The date and time of the event will be Thursday, May 22nd, starting at 7 pm at Eddie’s Attic, 515-B North McDonough St, Decatur, Georgia.
