An event scheduled for mid-December is sure to entertain Decatur residents, particularly those with fond memories of 1980s pop.
Debbie Gibson is a songwriter, singer, producer, actress, businesswoman, and musician. She rose very quickly to fame at just 16 years old. From the start, Gibson has penned many of her own hits. Not one to stick with just one field, she has been involved in both theatrical and screen appearances in addition to her music.
Two of her biggest movies are “Summer of Dreams” and “Wedding of Dreams,” both a part of the Hallmark Channel. Some of the musicals she took part in include “Grease,” “Cinderella,” “Les Miserables,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Chicago.” A few of the songs to her name are “Foolish Beat,” “Lost in Your Eyes,” “Shake Your Love,” “Mood Swings,” and “One Step Closer.”
Debbie Gibson’s Winterlicious - An Evening of Holiday and Hits Tour will be coming to the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta. In this show, Gibson will focus on her Christmas tunes while sprinkling in some of her biggest songs from throughout her discography.
Tickets, which are available through Ticketmaster, range in price from $40 to $289, with some prices being at a resale value. Merchandise featuring a graphic design relating to the performing act is often sold at concerts. The show is set to kick off at 7:00 pm on December 11.
