Charis Books and More and the Georgia Center for the Book will welcome bestselling author Andrew Joseph White to Decatur this November.
The event will be centered around a discussion celebrating his novel You’re No Better.
The young adult suspense story follows 17-year-old Morgan Slaughter, who is struggling with the legacy of his imprisoned serial killer father while trying to uncover the identity of an unknown victim. The novel explores family trauma, public scrutiny, identity and the difficult transition into adulthood.
White is also the author of Hell Followed With Us and You Weren’t Meant to Be Human. He also earned a degree in Creative Writing and lives in Virginia.
General admission is free, although advance registration is requested. A Book with Seat ticket costs $25.65, or $27.92 including a $2.27 Eventbrite fee. A Couples Ticket, which includes one book and two seats, is also $27.92 including the same fee. Those with books included in the ticket will get their books at the event.
Guests who preorder the novel and complete the organizer’s promotional form may receive a signed bookplate, author letter, enamel pin and themed zippered pouch. Seating availability is first come, first served. Free parking will be provided.
Organizers of literary events often use flyer printing to promote featured authors, new releases and ticket options.
You’re No Better: An Evening with Andrew Joseph White is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10th, from 7 to 8 pm at Decatur Library, 215 Sycamore Street, Decatur, Georgia. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
