The 2014-2015 season at the New London Theatre in Snellville will conclude with the hit musical ‘Damn Yankees’.
It is the story of a baseball fanatic in his middle ages who trades his soul to the Devil to be able to transform the hapless Washington Senators into a winning team. As he does so, he realizes the real value of his life is able to outsmart the Devil and return to his former self to get his favorite team into the World Series.
The producer of the show is John Berlo, the director is Dawn Berlo, and the musical director is Henry Hadden.
The show is currently running until July 26. Evening performance are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, with matinees on Sunday at 2:30 pm.
The New London Theatre is also holding weekly summer camps for children between the ages of 5 and 17. The themes for the upcoming weeks in July are drama, musicals, and comedy, with the theme for each week combining many aspects of theater including dance, monologues, stage makeup, and costumes. Classes are $185 a week and a 10% discount is given for each additional week.
