With poster printing and banner printing likely taking place already ahead of the show, those coming to enjoy the party can look forward to a wealth of entertainment and activities. Notable mentions on the list of things to do for this year include a scarecrow contest and a cake and pie cooking competition.
With the usual local arts and crafts stalls from the region, and vendors offering plenty of food and drink on the night, the Tourism and Trade Director for Snellville, Kelly McAloon, said:
“We’re looking for people to bring their cake and pie creations to the festival where they will be judged by some of Snellville’s professional chefs
Another regular competition is also likely to have many taking part, with prizes being awarded to people coming to the festival in the best Halloween costume. With more age categories than ever before and a category for the family dog, it is likely to be bigger than anything that has gone before.
The scarecrow contest is already underway, with the creations placed across the city so people can make a decision over which is their personal favorite ahead of the event.
The event gets underway at 12:00 noon on October 25, running through 7:00 pm.
