The winner of Season 8 of Fox Television's 'Hell’s Kitchen' is to appear in Snellville, putting in a stint as celebrity chef at the Wisteria Pop-Up Marketplace.
Nona Johnson will cook up an appearance at the new commercial village as part of an experiential event to showcase Snellville entrepreneurs and businesses. A mass of flyer printing could well be needed ahead of the event to help it go with a bang.
Johnson won through in the reality television show in 2010, having survived the verbal punishment for which UK celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is well known.
Johnson, who hails from Georgia, has honed her skills in the kitchen for the last five years. In that time she has risen to the role of head chef at the renowned L.A. Market restaurant, attached to the luxurious JW Marriott Hotel in the entertainment district of Los Angeles.
In addition to coming up with tempting delights for the West Coast restaurant, Johnson has also taken up the challenge inspired by another show from Chef Ramsay, 'Kitchen Nightmares', which saw her save two local kitchens.
After the launch, the marketplace will continue be used to offer a downtown location to promote local businesses. It is hoped it will work as a great place to sell their wares and put their poster and stationary printing efforts to good effect.
Johnson’s Snellville appearance will be on May 16.
