Snellville will be holding Sprinkler Days ay Briscoe Field in Briscoe Park later this month and next month.
Beginning at 10:00 a.m., both
parents and children can enjoy non-stop sprinkler action to help them cool down from the heat of the summer. The event is free and open to the community. Afterwards, the community pool will be open for further aquatic activities.
Sprinkler Days will be held on Saturday June 25 and Saturday July 30. Cities often invest in poster printing services and display Posters to promote events like these.
Snellville is also currently exhibiting the works of Lucy Brady and Diana Pratt Dice in the City Hall Art Gallery.
Brady’s paintings are primarily in pen and ink, watercolor, and acrylic. She has a degree in graphic design, has taught drawings classes for both children and adults, and has been an art director. She is currently working on a series of paintings of state and national parks in Georgia.
Dice has said that her works are more provocative and daring, with bolder and brighter colors. She adds that people often tell her that her personality is as colorful as her paintings.
Both exhibits are on display through August 4. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and made possible by the Snellville Arts Commission.
