A line has been drawn under applications for this year's Snellville Lighted Christmas Parade.
Always a popular event, banner printing and all manner of typically festive Stationery printing will no doubt be taking place to ensure everyone taking part can get their message out there and really make the event go with a bang.
Taking place on November 29, the first Saturday of the month after Thanksgiving, the parade is the traditional forerunner ahead of the traditional lighting up of the city Christmas tree.
The parade will get underway at 5:30 pm, and is scheduled to arrive at Towne Green for 6:30 pm, with the big light switch on the seasonal spruce taking place around 9:00 pm.
The staging area this year will be on Wisteria and Highway 78, at the Kmart Shopping Center. Everyone who has been accepted to take part has been advised to arrive by 4:00 pm in order to have plenty of time to set up and prepare. Anyone arriving after 4:30 pm is unlikely to be allowed to take part.
Everyone accepted should already be aware of the theme for this year's event, a closely guarded secret ahead of the day itself. All designs are expected to stick to the theme, with Print companies in Snellville happy to help, no doubt.
