State Route 124 in Snellville, at the intersection with Pharrs Road, will be the scene of a great deal of construction for a retail site to be called “Park Place”.
The tenants of the site are expected to include Aspen Dental, Freddy’s Frozen Custard, Cracker Barrel, and Zaxby’s, according to the most recent trade and tourism publication of the city of Snellville. Steakburgers will also be one of the tenants.
Opening dates for these establishments vary, with Freddy’s hoping to open in late July or early August and Zaxby’s planning on an August opening.
A spokesperson from Cracker Barrel was more reluctant to pin down an opening date but Eric Van Otteren, economic development manager for the city, commented that Cracker Barrel and all the other retail establishments have been approved.
There are other construction projects that are underway in the area around Snellville as well. At Essex Drive and Georgia Route 124, a Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q restaurant is being built with an opening date of early fall. Carmike Cinemas in the process of creating a dine-in theater concept to be called ‘Ovation’ just across the parking lot from Jim ‘N Nick’s.
Each of these areas might benefit from the assistance of a local banner company to advertise these new retail offerings and provide more information with regard to opening dates.
