On Set Cinema is giving movie fans a chance to watch Scream 2 at the same location where it was filmed.
Fans will remember the horror movie for its chilling college scenes, which were shot at Agnes Scott College 20 years ago.
On Set Cinema was started by Kenny Caperton. His goal is to revive interest in classic horror films by allowing fans to watch films at the same locations where they were shot. On Set Cinema says that this allows the viewers to ‘step out of the screen’ for a moment.
Promotion for the Decatur screening is ongoing. The highlight of the event is likely to be an appearance by Elise Neal, the actor who co-starred in Scream 2 as Hallie, who will be hosting autograph, photo-op, and Q&A sessions. This will be her first time appearing at such an event.
Neal will also hold an auction for her props from the movie’s original set. Some of the items expected to be on the block include her cream jacket and the backing for her actor’s chair. Promotional Products for the Decatur event include Windsor College T-Shirts with either ‘Fraternity Omega Beta Zeta’ or ‘Sorority Omega Kappa Beta’ printed on them.
On-Set Cinema’s Scream 2 event will be on Saturday, April 13 from 6:00 pm. The film screening is free of charge, and anyone can attend.
