The audition, which is being run by the The Snellville Arts Commission, comes ahead of this year's Halloween festivities. With Print companies likely already lining up the poster printing and banner printing campaigns for the family night of horror, it takes place in the community room of the City Hall.
It is the second audition being held by the commission. As well as ghosts, there are also plenty of other positions needing to be filled, such as guides, costume makers, and make-up artists.
The commission is also looking for people to manage the ghouls. Anyone wanting to be a 'ghost wrangler' is asked to make an appearance.
The auditions are being held ahead of the tours being conducted throughout the city on October 24 and 31, and November 1.
According to the news release from the Snellville Arts Commission, this year's Ghost Tour will offer families:
“...a guaranteed good time with a few chills down your spine and — just maybe — laughs from your belly.”
The news release went on to say that “actors, guests and ghost wranglers” will haunt anyone in and around City Hall throughout Halloween, giving out ‘Snellville’s Chills’ with a mix of creepy, crawly creature fact and fiction. The stories, created by local writers, will tell true and fabricated stories about the city.
