Korean music group to hit the road

A band known in the world of K-pop will be venturing out on a world tour, and a show set for Atlanta in early July is sure to entertain Decatur residents.

Stray Kids is a group previously consisting of nine former competitors from a reality program. On a normal season of the show, which shares its title with this band, some of the cast would have to leave after being voted out. In this case though, all of the men made it through to the end.

They have since gone on to win several awards, release multiple records, and tour the world. The names of the members are Bang Chan, I.N., Lee Know, Woojin, Hyunjin, Changbin, Seungmin, Han, and Felix. However, Woojin left the band in 2019, leaving just eight members at the present date. The members are all between the ages of 21 and 24, being just 16-19 when the group formed. Some of their songs include “Maniac,” “For You,” “Venom,” “Cheese,” “Scars,” and “Domino.”

The Maniac World Tour will be bringing the show to the State Farm Arena. The tickets available on Ticketmaster are all currently resales, with prices ranging from $290 to $3,578. Like all events, the concert is subject to changing guidelines for Covid-19. There is often merchandise featuring the band Logo Design for sale at shows like this one.

A card will be needed for any purchase, as the arena does not accept cash. The doors will open at 6:30 pm, with the show following at 7:30 pm. The date is July 3.
