A group of international performers will be bringing their newest set of shows across the world. Two events in early November are sure to entertain Decatur residents.
Blackpink is a Korean pop group with four members – Lalisa/Pranpriya Manoban (Lisa), Kim Jennie (Jennie), Kim Jisoo (Jisoo), and Park Chaeyoung (Rose). Breaking onto the scene in 2016, the quartet has continued to grow its fanbase with a unique style of performance and powerful lyrics.
In 2019, the women became the first K-pop girl group to perform as a part of the music festival Coachella. Singing in English, Korean, and Japanese, the group has put out many hits, and the members have also embarked on solo projects. Blackpink’s catalog includes “Ice Cream” with Selena Gomez, “Sour Candy” with Lady Gaga, “Pink Venom,” “How You Like That,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “Shut Down,” and “Kill This Love.”
The Blackpink World Tour [Born Pink] will be coming to the State Farm Arena in Atlanta for two concerts. Regular and resale tickets across both range in price from $168 to $2,200. At the time of writing, two VIP bundles are available, priced at $350 and $500. Items sold at similar events will often have a graphic design relating to the artist.
Each show will start at 8:00 pm, with the dates set to be November 2 and 3.
